Our guest speaker for December is Heather Wheeler MP. Heather was elected Member of Parliament for South Derbyshire in 2010. She is Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Attorney General and has sat on the Communities and Local Government Select Committee and the Standards and Privileges Committee.

Keynote speech by Rt Hon Damian Green MP: 'True Modernisation'
You are invited to a Bright Blue Keynote Speech, given by the Rt Hon Damian Green MP.
First elected Member of Parliament for Ashford in 1997, Damian served as Minister of State for Immigration at the Home Office after the 2010 General Election. From 2012 to 2014, he was Minister of State for Policing and Criminal Justice.
Damian's keynote speech will be on the topic of True Modernisation.

Our guest speaker for October is Graham Stuart, Member of Parliament for Beverley and Holderness and Chairman of the Education Select Committee.
Graham was born in Carlisle and read Philosophy and then Law at Cambridge University. While still a student at Cambridge, he started his own publishing business and he remains its non-executive Chairman.

Our guest speaker for June is Eric Ollerenshaw, Member of Parliament for Lancaster and Fleetwood. Prior to his election in 2010 he was a full-time history teacher.
He was educated at the London School of Economics, graduating with a bachelors in Economics in 1971.
In 1990, he was awarded his OBE for Public and Political Service.

Our guest speaker for May is Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North.
Before entering parliament Chloe worked for Deloitte, as a management consultant. As the youngest member of parliament she has served as Economic Secretary to the Treasury between 2011 and 2013 and is an active constituency MP.
Chloe is a parliamentary supporter of Bright Blue.

Ben Gummer was appointed PPS to Michael Gove in October 2013 and is MP for Ipswich. Before entering Parliament in 2010 he was Managing Director of Sancroft International.
He was educated at Tonbridge School and Peterhouse College, Cambridge.
Ben is a parliamentary supporter of Bright Blue.

Keynote by Rt Hon Greg Clark MP: Conservatism and cities
You are invited to a keynote speech by The Rt Hon Greg Clark MP on "Conservatism and cities", which is being hosted by Bright Blue on Wednesday 26th February at 19:30 in Meeting Room C, 1 Parliament Street.
Greg Clark is MP for Royal Tunbridge Wells and Minister of State for Cities and Constitution at the Cabinet Office.
Born in Middlesbrough, Greg studied economics at Cambridge before earning his PhD from the London School of Economics.
His most recent book, Total Politics, dealing with decentralisation of political power, was published by Conservative Policy Unit in 2003.

The youth labour market in Britain, today and tomorrow
This panel discussion will explore how youth employment in the UK compares with other countries, and what reforms are needed - especially to our education system - to better prepare and support young people entering today's and tomorrow's labour market.

Rob Wilson was appointed PPS for George Osborne in October 2013 and is MP for Reading East. Before entering Parliament in 2005 he started several small businesses. In Government he acted as PPS to Jeremy Hunt before joining the Treasury.
Following the 2010 election he wrote 5 Days to Power charting the days of talks which culminated in the coalition.
